Sometimes the Mini postal meter gets stuck in a loop where it won't accept a particular cartridge, indicating it can't read it, etc. The procedure below often times resets the machine and the cartridge will then work correctly. 1. Leave the cartridge in the machine 2. Shut it down, then unplug ALL cables and cords (power, network,etc) 3. Leave machine in that state for one minute 4. Insert all cords and power the machine back up 5. It will most likely indicate "Locked" 6. Select Menu, Download Postage, input ZERO dollar amount and press the Green check mark. You will be asked if you are sure, acknowledge this with the Green check mark again, and the machine will load zero postage. 7. This should effectively reset the machine and the cartridge should now perform normally
